We employ around 1,000 staff at the Sanger Institute. The Resourcing team manage all recruitment activity for the Institute, working with managers and candidates to recruit individuals with the right attitude and skills, who will contribute to the success of our organisation.
Our Learning and Development specialists ensure that we have a first class framework in place to nurture talent. They ensure the right performance management systems are in place, backed by training and development programmes which enable individuals to enhance their skills and knowledge and progress their career with us.
We also have a team of HR advisors, led by HR Partners, who work closely with our management teams to ensure we have the right team structures and working relationships in place which support the delivery of our science. This team provide professional advice and guidance on all aspects of employee relations and help to facilitate the people aspect of change programmes and restructuring.
