    The British Museum‘s digital strategy is designed to increase the Museum’s reach. Social media, email and mobile are at the core of this as we extend our digital reach to hundreds of millions of people, and collapse the boundaries between our external audiences and visitors to the Museum.

    This role will be developing and delivering a comprehensive proposal for digital customer services at the British Museum, in line with the digital strategy.

    You will establish processes for monitoring, responding to and reporting visitor insights, conducting a thorough audit of all the channels through which the Museum currently receives visitor feedback.

    Working closely with Marketing, Visitor Services, Press and Digital teams you will identify appropriate tools and establish processes to integrate visitor insights into to the social media strategy and digital strategy.

    Educated to degree level, preferably with a qualification in Marketing or social media, you will have strong analytical skills and proven experience in digital marketing, social media management and customer service.

    With strong organisational skills, you will also have the ability to communicate effectively resulting in building positive relationships across your team as well as with other departments.
