    Band 5 – Staff Nurses – Emergency Department

    Permanent and 12 Months Fixed Term Positions

    We are looking for enthusiastic, forward looking Registered Nurses with an interest in Emergency Care to join our team in our 24 hour Emergency Department at Bradford Royal Infirmary.

    We are committed to exploring innovative ways of working to enhance emergency care and achieve both local and national standards.

    The successful applicants should have previous post registration experience within the Emergency Care setting or within an acute hospital setting.

    The Bradford Royal infirmary Emergency team is passionate about getting it right for patients and their families. In order to achieve this we are looking to appoint passionate, enthusiastic, motivated and dynamic Band 5 Registered Nurses who are seeking to start or progress their Emergency nursing career and who will be expected to support the senior nursing team in effecting change not only within nursing practice but also by looking at patient pathways and other processes and procedures within the wider organization to enhance and optimize our patients journey.

    The successful candidates will also be expected to take a lead role in some areas of development within the Directorate ensuring the objectives are achieved with the support of the senior nursing and management team in each of the areas.

    The successful candidates will ideally be looking for a challenging and demanding but fulfilling role which has personal development opportunities.

    It is essential that the successful candidates have the ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and possess excellent communication skills.
