7 Peaks Software (7 Peaks) is an international design and software company, located in Bangkok.
We are looking for a motivated professional to take the role as Lead Engineer and are open for both foreigners and Thai.
You love to work with people in a multinational environment. You possess a passion for technology and software development.
You will lead and grow our native mobile (Android & iOS) and web applications teams.
You will work alongside our team of 30+ talented designers and engineers from all over the world based in our Bangkok office, working with a wide and interesting portfolio of global clients.
Our office is located in the heart of Bangkok, just meters from the Asoke / Nana BTS Skytrain and MRT Sukhumvit underground trains.
7 Peaks is a Norwegian owned company and was BOI promoted by the Thailand Board of Investment in 2014.
We primarily work with enterprise clients and growth startups, some of our clients include Boston Consulting Group, Telenor Group, Dtac, 7-Eleven, Apphuset Norway and many more.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
• Help your team members grow by defining individual goals and the strategy to achieve them
• Actively mentor and continuously provide feedback to your team members
• Select and interview new candidates in collaboration with the team
• Provide your domain knowledge and insights where needed
• Evangelise best practices and how to sustain a culture of quality delivery -
and craftsmanship
• Contribute to the overall technology strategy, architecture & design, and development practices for frontend applications
**QUALIFICATIONS**
• An applied university degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
• 5+ years of software development experience, including serving as lead architect, lead engineer, or technical lead for successful software solutions for either web frontend or native apps
• 2+ years of experience with team lead responsibilities such 1-1s, appraisal interviews, hiring and mentoring of others
• Excellent ability to understand and communicate with people from different cultures
• Be thorough and dedicated to quality
• Assist in defining processes and be able to identify opportunities for innovation to improve quality
• Must have fluent English, both oral and written
