    Job description

    Senior Web Developer (PHP) (Amsterdam)

    Location: Amsterdam

    Salary: Competitive and negotiable

Contract: Full time, 37.5 hours a week

Full-stack LAMP web developer required to join our growing product development team.

    Who is Vintage Cash Cow?

We’re pioneers in “Vintage Re-commerce”, turning people's old stuff into easy cash and money for charity.

Our vintagecashcow.co.uk service launched in the UK 3 and a half years ago, and our new charity brand vintagegiving.com is launching this month.

We’re proud to have two services that are sustainability focussed - helping fuel the circular economy by acquiring and re-selling people's old stuff.

Your role will focus on new projects and features across our brands and countries, working closely with the Product and Marketing teams. This will enable our existing Software Specialist to focus on re-building the CRM platform and system architecture ahead of launching in more countries.

What will you be working on?

Fundraising Portal - Creating a self service portal for any charity to join Vintage Giving and begin to use it as a new fundraising tool. Similar to the likes of justgiving.com, but with our unique approach of raising funds from old stuff, instead of cash donations or milestones.

Internal Pricing Platform - Developing an internal pricing platform based on current market values and the knowledge of our experts.

Image Recognition Chat Bot - Integrating the work of our AI developers who are building a remarkable image recognition engine specifically for vintage items. Helping to bring this into core user journeys for lead generation and improvement in online customer service standards delivered.

CRM Improvements - Continued improvements to our CRM platform. Some examples; Database driven product search as a lead generation tool, Improvement of our call centre task management system and the backend development requirements for supporting our own native app.

In the role you’ll benefit from and enjoy:

    Working independently with minimal supervision

Huge variety in day to day operations across multiple projects

Freedom to choose the right tools and technologies for the job

    Involvement in key decision making

Opportunity to showcase your problem solving skills

    Relaxed and informal working environment

    What’s next?

If you want a new challenge with a fast paced and well supported team, at a very interesting consumer facing business, take a look at the skills and experiences requirements to see if you're a good fit.
