At Umbo Computer Vision, the site reliability engineer is a special position that helps us improve reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability of our services. Site reliability engineers work with our application engineers throughout the whole lifecycle of our products – from architecture design and review, through implementation, to operation. As an site reliability engineer, you will gain an in-depth understanding of our systems, and provide insights into potential failures and continual improvement.

Our infrastructure team plays a crucial role in our engineering processes. We are looking for talented engineers who aren't afraid of taking up the challenges of DevOps and cloud technologies, processes, and tools to improve our infrastructure and services.
Salary Range:
Depends on your experience and skill set, the salary of this position ranges from NTD 700,000 to NTD 1,800,000 annually with 0.02% to 0.05% share.
What you'll be doing:
1. Design and develop internal tools to improve automation, efficiency, and transparency, such as: CI/CD pipelines, logging, monitoring and alerting for our micro-services.
2. Help design infrastructures for scalability, reliability, high availability, as well as good software maintenance and operational experience.
3. Help our developers adopt cloud-native designs.
4. Share operation duties with our engineers. And contribute to incident responses and no-blame postmortem analysis and review.
What you'll need:
1. BS in Computer Science/Engineering or related experiences
2. Ability to work with container technologies like Docker
3. Familiar with one of Python, Golang, and shell scripts
4. Experience with public clouds like AWS or GCP
5. Experience of developing and running applications on a cloud
Pluses:
1. Experience with Kubernetes
2. CI/CD experience with Jenkins
3. Experience with Packer and Terraform
4. Experience with configuration management such as Ansible and SaltStack
