As a Product Manager:

• Your focus is on identifying our consumer and business problems and are at the intersection of business, design, and engineering.
• You require a high level of creativity and foresight to define a vision for the product
• You will be responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition of the product
• You have technical knowledge to understand Advocado’s product and have a keen eye for design.
• You communicate ideas in a clear and concise manner, bringing teams (overseas and local) together to build a successful product
• You will be responsible for charting the course for the Advocado’s feature set by engaging our sales, customer success and partnerships to create the most seamless customer loyalty solution.
   

Key Responsibilities

• Shape the overall Advocado’s product vision and roadmap
• Work closely with our tech team on new product enhancements and feature releases
• Define and communicate product requirements and specifications by thinking creatively and rigorously about how to solve problems. 
• Collect data, user feedback, and market research, and use that to inform product development. 
• Work with various stakeholders (internal / merchants / end-users) to understand their pain points, and how Advocado can add value to their business. 
• Partner with external technology solutions to create integrated solutions through the use of our APIs (POS / Ordering Systems etc)

Job Requirements

• 3+ years in a product management experience at a tech software company
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Information Technology. Masters is a plus
• Full stack web development experience 
• Demonstrated success in delivering successful products in a fast-
  growing, dynamic, rapidly changing environment 
• Experience with Agile development and sprint cycles
• Strong business acumen, be customer focused, team and results- oriented
• Strong analytical skills and creative problem solving skills
• Familiar with productivity tools such as JIRA / Confluence / Slack / Postman / Sketch 

Additional Job Description

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with offshore development team is a plus
• Experience crafting easy to use, delightful product interfaces
