An exciting opportunity for a CAD Designer for joining an existing Engineering team/organization and engage in a diverse and challenging task of actualizing bespoke designs.

Job Description:
- As a CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for using Solid Edge Software for producing 2D and 3D drawings - You will be using Solid Edge Premium Suite of tools, AutoCAD and Autodesk Inventor to ensure the document management system is kept up to date.
- Producing General Arrangement drawings using Solid Edge PDM Software and Solidworks CAD Software for customer approval.
- As a CAD Engineer, you will be using Solid Edge 2D for making Engineering drawing/design amendments until the final design is approved.
- Producing Detail Drawings for 3D Additive manufacture using Solid Edge NX Software.
- As a CAD Engineer, you will be involved with the use of Solid Edge PLM for the preparation of documentation for the Bill of Material.
Candidate Requirements:
The successful CAD Designer will:
- Have Solid Edge CAD Software, Solidworks CAD Software, and Autocad experience.
- Be capable of using Solid Edge CAD for creating bespoke designs for the CNC department.
- Have a background in any of POS/ furniture/ industrial design.
- Be capable of utilizing Solid Edge Synchronous design capabilities for working in teams to provide innovative solutions to design issues.
- Engineering qualification and Working knowledge in Embedded Solid Edge Simulation Tools, such as FloEFD Solid Edge would be highly preferred however not essential
- Previous experience working in a CAD design role using Solid Edge Generative Design is essential
- Previous experience producing drawings using Solid Edge Drafting Software and Solidworks Software is highly preferred
- Previous experience using Siemens Solid Edge and Solidworks by SeaCAD Technologies is essential
- Strong communication skills
- The ability to work well alone as well as part of a team
