CFD Engineer

Job Responsibilities:
● Building airflow simulation Models and conducting CFD Simulation analysis to predict the performance of
aerodynamic drag, HVAC CFD Simulation, engine room, and underbody parts.
Multiphysics CFD Thermal analysis of convective cooling of heat exchangers,
● Candidate will also be responsible for summarizing and reporting the
CFD Modelling results, making recommendations to the functional groups and project
management as part of the CFD Consulting Services provided.
● The successful candidate should be capable to clean, mesh and separate
geometry for proper CFD simulation volume meshing in CFD Fluid Dynamics Software, as well as, utilize open source
CFD software such as OpenFOAM and/or commercial Computational
Fluid dynamics software such as Star-CCM+ or Ansys Fluent Software for CFD simulation.
● Additional responsibilities as part of the CFD analysis services will include coordinating schedules with
project teams to make sure that the simulations results delivered as part of our CFD Simulation services can be used to
support design decisions, and continually improve the modeling and analysis
techniques to increase the correlation between experiment and simulation results obtained from CFD analysis software.
● Occasionally, this position may be required to support CFD Simulator testing such as
vehicle setup/preparation, wind tunnel/coast-down testing, and field test
activities. This is to validate results obtain from our Aerodynamic analysis services.
Requirement
● Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and a
minimum of 5 years directly related Fluid Dynamics simulation project and
Fluid dynamics Simulation software experience at a Computational Fluid Dynamics company
or equivalent combination of education and experience in CFD Simulation software required.
● Knowledge of Computational Fluid Simulation Software and Thermal CFD Computational Fluid Dynamics simulation
is required for this CFD Consultant role.
● Knowledge of the Fluid Flow simulation and automotive development process
is preferred as part of the CFD modeling services we provide.
● Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical Fluid Flow Analysis
software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.
● Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
