    Senior Business Development Representative 

    Tech in Asia Studios focuses on bridging the connection gap by connecting brands with Asia’s tech community. We do this by producing integrated media, content and events that help companies effectively reach Tech in Asia’s audience to meet their marketing and communication goals.

    Are you the one?

    We are looking for a Senior Business Development Representative (BDR) for Studios. Reporting to the VP of Sales and Accounts, the right person will bring deep sales experience and industry connections.

    The ideal candidate will understand the market and anticipate client needs, while also working effectively with internal stakeholders such as the account management and creative teams. We are looking for someone who is well-organized, creative, self-motivated, and results-driven.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for driving Studios revenue and carrying a quota
    • Independently develop and nurture leads
    • Close deals with new clients
    • Understand how to package Studios products to meet complex client challenges
    • Maintain close touch points with current clients
    • Understand overall market and client trends
    • Aiding team in structuring strategic and integrated partnerships

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years experience of successful B2B or media sales
    • Proven track record of closing deals
    • Ability to close and nurture customers
    • Ability to pursue long-term projects through to completion
    • Experience managing budgets and weekly reporting on revenue performance and tracking and industry pacing
    • High energy, self-starter
    • Creative and strong problem-solving skills, adaptability is critical
    • Leader, mentor, charismatic, motivator
    • Data-driven decision maker
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Strong English communication skills (Bahasa Indonesian and/or other Asian languages is a plus)
