Some of your ideal traits and skills:

• Enjoy writing code that is robust, efficient, clean and easy-to-follow
• Have a good level of written and spoken English
• Intermediate to expert knowledge of ECMAScript, HTML and CSS
• Suitable experience with Javascript SPAs, OOP, and REST APIs
• Familiar with complex software design (UML) and maintenance
• Fluent in unit testing ie. Mocha, Chai, SinonJs, etc. and/or acceptance testing ie. Selenium, etc.
• Dedicated knowledge of BackboneJs and MarionetteJs
• Comfortable with Javascript frameworks and libraries

A role in R&D means active participation in the full life cycle of development, from design to deployment. It’s also an opportunity to create and contribute to Sociomantic open source projects. Colleagues from all walks of life and around the globe come together at our Berlin office. Your position will be full-time in Berlin with a flexible 40 hour work week. Integration into local life is provided, including German language courses for non-native speakers and assistance with work permit processing for non-EU citizens.
