About the Role

At DeepSpin Berlin, you will be joining our team in the Berlin office. This team will develop the entire software stack of our line of MRI machines, from the user-interface that doctors will use, to the firmware controlling our hardware. You will be helping with the design of the automatic pulse sequence generation by AI, and its translation to a high performing hardware prototype. You will be responsible for setting performance goals, defining corner cases and helping define the hardware implementation of our MRI machine.

About You

• MSc/PhD Degree in Physics, Engineering or similar

• 3+ years experience in the field of magnetic resonance, preferably NMR or MRI

• Knowledge of MR hardware, namely low-field techniques

• First principles thinking when diagnosing problems and applying research to a commercial setting

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive get-stuff-done attitude

• Preferred: EE background in RF techniques

• Preferred: solid mathematical and scientific programming skills

• Preferred: proven track record with publications in top MRI journals
