How: Our web development needs reinforcement

Type of employment: Permanent full-time / part-time job
Your tasks:
Do you want to program democracy? With us you work in a small, dedicated team and drive the expansion of our openPetition platform. This includes the development of new communication and networking of users of our platform. You carry out tasks on your own responsibility. You design and program your own code and check and test your team's code. We don't need hierarchies. We only have power struggles over who buys the club mate and who gets the last candy bar.
You should bring:
Proven practical experience in programming web applications
Willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies
Commitment to data protection and data economy
Interest in democracy and political participation
C1 German (certificate not important)
You could bring:
Good knowledge of DevOps for administration and automation of the server infrastructure
Experience in database design, with scalable web architectures, server caching, queuing systems, cloud readiness
We use:
PHP 7 (no frameworks)
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Highcharts
Debian
Nginx, MariaDB
Memcached, Redis
Nominatim, Kibana, Postfix (we have our own email server)
Docker
Git
