Job Description:
As nutrition scientist at made for_ you’ll be engaged in a variety of different projects, ranging from answering customer queries to contributing to new product development. You’ll serve as an in-house nutrition expert for our customers, and assist with nutrition education across a variety of channels.
Responsibilities:
- Answer customer nutrition queries via chat, email, phone and other channels.
- Assess customer nutrition needs, and provide personalized guidance on supplements, based on age, sex, goals, and various other factors.
- Evaluate current research on vitamins, minerals, ayurvedic herbs and other emerging supplements, and incorporate findings into customer interactions and product content.
- Assist with nutrition content creation, including website content, blog posts, and social media posts.
- Help define and create a consistent nutrition experience across customer-facing channels.
- Brainstorm new, cost-effective nutrition solutions to improve the made for_ customer experience.
- Support other nutrition projects/ initiatives, as needed.
Qualifications/ Relevant Experience:
- BS/ MS in nutrition science, Registered Dietitian preferred.
- 1-2 years nutrition counseling experience.
- Deep understanding of nutrition strategies/supplements for health, wellness and performance optimization.
