As a Node.js Developer, you will create impact by:

• Working with project managers to translate features into stories
• Working with front end developers to define APIs
• Architecting and leading large-scale backend development work
• Delegating logically segmented work to junior developers
• Reviewing and improve the technical abilities of junior Node.js developers

As a Node.js Developer, it would help for you to be:

• Experienced in server programming
• Proficient in Node.js and Javascript
• Knowledgeable in  HTML and CSS
• Good understanding of OOP
• Good understanding of non-blocking concept (event loop, asynchronous flow, etc)
• Good knowledge of module system
• Experience with Node frameworks (Express, Sails, etc)
• Good networking fundamentals (HTTP/HTTPS, REST, Web Socket)
• Good knowledge on common web application security threats
• Good knowledge on virtualisation and containers
• Excellent git command knowledge
• Experience with various git flow
• Experience with CI/CD tools
• Experienced in working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis or MongoDB
• Able to demonstrate a good understanding of REST
• Experienced in deploying applications to cloud services such as AWS or Azure
• Experienced in optimizing server performance
• Logical in thinking with natural problem-solving skills
• A self-Learner (i.e. Able to make good assumptions and search for solutions proactively)
• Able to communicate excellently
• Able to contribute effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven, and collaborative programming environment
• Able to lead projects through the completion of all phases of application development
• Able to solve problems while keeping the end goal in mind
