System design - Full lifecycle application design and development of the API design - lead and maintain Kyte’s backend API Feed technical considerations into product and business strategy and investment narrative Oversight of all aspects of engineering including technical strategy and implementing best practices & technology stacks Taking charge of platform development, owning the engineering budget and making key decisions on technical architecture Delivering the MVP, enabling us to test, iterate and serve our early customers. Lead a team in integrating new airlines and customers, react to changing commercial and partner requirements Define technical support processes and ensure customer support for technical issues Ensure infrastructure is scalable and can support a large B2B platform Comfortable in taking part in senior meetings and speaking with investors 🎯 Technical requirements
A track record of delivering well-engineered products that delight users Knowledge of a range of current cross-platform product development frameworks Good working knowledge of API designs (e.g. OpenAPI, JSON, JSON-LD, SOAP, XML) Expertise in Python and nodeJS High level knowledge of infrastructure: AWS, Kubernetes, Lambda, Redis, ElasticSearch Experience with automated deployment and release
