Job description
Cognicept provides Human-in-the-loop (HITL) error handling with our telerobotic networking technology and remote robot trainers. Our supervised autonomy products make unpredictable applications reliable and enable use cases that were previously impossible.
No one is perfect...not even robots. Cognicept Systems steps in when robots get confused. Founded in 2018, Cognicept is focused on allowing robots to thrive in the wild of warehouses, hotels, and sidewalks, outside of the comfort of their predictable environments. What sets us apart is our human approach to this -- we realize there is a need for human intervention when automation fails. Cognicept’s “Robot Trainers” use proprietary intervention system to remotely troubleshoot any robot related issue. By making previously unpredictable applications reliable and enabling robots to perform to higher standards, we enable our customers to focus on what they do best. Our product currently serves mobile robotics platforms that operate in unstructured environments but our goal is to quickly expand into new and exciting use-cases, including robotics arms, vision systems, and aerial vehicles.
We are backed by a top 3 VC firm and have been featured in Yahoo News, Tech in Asia, Association of Computing Machinery, and The Business Times. We have offices in Singapore and India. We are quickly expanding to other major cities around the world.
