ABOUT FEEBRIS We build intuitive, mobile-based software, powered by AI, so that non-medical users can precisely detect and monitor complex diseases, using the latest medical sensors. Our mobile app connects to off-the-shelf IOT medical sensors, and intuitively guides the users through a medical examination. Machine Learning and AI supports the user to capture high quality signals and make better health decisions for the patient. Our web app enables doctors to remotely review patient data to provide diagnoses and treatment.
Our mission is to prevent hospitalisations and suffering from conditions that could have been prevented or treated at home. We believe that no one should die or suffer from treatable conditions. And yet, every year nearly 1 million children around the world die from pneumonia (a treatable disease). But this is just the tip of the iceberg; the world over (even in the UK), our children and elderly often do not get the care they need until it is too late.
We currently provide our SaaS platform to organisations that provide health and social care to elderly in the UK, and children in India. Our app is live right now, being used by healthcare workers in Indian slums to help 4,000 young children. We’ve won awards for our disruptive technology (UKBAA, Children’s Prize), our founder is an internationally renowned speaker on AI in healthcare, and earlier this year we raised a £1.1m seed round.
THE ROLE You’ll join our core software engineering team, designing and building tech that literally saves lives. You will work across mobile, web and cloud. You will build ground-breaking software that: deploys incredibly advanced Machine Learning models; captures data directly from the latest medical sensors; protects patients’ most sensitive data. You will work with an outstanding, truly multidisciplinary team to make this software accessible in the most remote communities for non-medical users. If you’re looking for challenging and impactful work on the cutting edge of health tech, then look no further – we would love to hear from you!
