    PR & Communications Manager

    We are looking for a strong PR & Communications Manager to work within our Marketing Team. The right candidate will be able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment. They must have great written communication skills, strong media relations, a good knowledge of UK and US media, an understanding of what makes a good news hook and the ability to work with a certain level of autonomy.

    We need a real news hound with a proven track record of getting results; must be happy to jump on the phones to drive coverage.

    Key Responsibilities

    - Pitching Logically updates and achievements to the media with tenacity.
    - Drafting creative and engaging copy for press releases, media alerts, event invites and social media
    - Actively doing trend searches to keep an eye on emerging trends that we can utilise and drafting reactive press materials off the back of them
    - Researching important background information for media materials and campaign planning, whether specific industry trends, key calendar hooks, influencers / celebrities to partner with and/or venue suggestions for events.
    - Helping to update the core media list with relevant contacts
    - Taking ownership of the coverage tracker, ensuring all coverage is clipped and tracked so that we can report our great results effectively; coverage searches every morning
    - Drafting accurate notes (minutes) during meetings
    - Helping to compile coverage reports as required
    - Attendance of relevant events to establish key contacts in the industry

    Key attributes

    - An established Publicist or Account Manager from an agency background
    - A contact list of press contacts, influencers and celebrities
    - Strong communication skills, both written and oral
    - The ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
    - Excellent attention to detail, presenting a high quality of work to line management
    - A positive, can-do attitude in response to challenging situations
    - Must be efficient in Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
    - Strong research skills

    Desirable

    - Prior experience using Cision
    - Bid writing experience
    - A strong understanding of UK, US and Indian politics
    - Have worked in the misinformation industry before
