Senior Engineer II is responsible for completing DevOps production and testing. They identify risks, set standards, deliver solid and maintainable software with exceptional knowledge of company dynamics and process management. 

Less experienced candidates will be considered as Senior Engineer I.

Responsibilities

• Works on routine DevOps task assigned by DevOps lead, such as infrastructure development, performance optimization application release and real time monitoring assignment
• 7x24 standby, emergency phone holder at night
• Address Product, Design,Implementation Testing, and DevOps issues during development
• Recognize technical debt in the codebase
• Produce clear, concise, and standard compliant documentation
• Produce technical specs with guidance

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred.
• Deep understanding of Agile processes, and SaaS/PaaS cloud architectures. AWS or GCP experience is required.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation tools and container orchestration (preferably Terraform, Kubernetes and Ansible, etc.)
• Experience in maintaining continuous integration and continuous delivery, using tools like Git, Jenkins.
• Experience in monitoring tools like Datadog, Grafana, ELK, New Relic, etc.
• Experience in programming languages (one or more of: NodeJS, Javascript, Python, Shell).
• Preferred experience supporting the following Datastore/Databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Redis, MangoDB.
• Proven leadership skills and good command of English
• Minimum 3 to 5 years hands on DevOps experience
• Working knowledge in OOP, Data Structures, MYSQL, Redis, XSS attacks, privacy and compliance is an advantage
