    And what does a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Platform at Ori do, exactly? 🔍

    • We’re building our cloud, from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for the design and implementation of a global infrastructure footprint to support our cloud software stack. From physical hardware, to operating systems - Infrastructure Engineering own the stack.
    • Use diverse set of infrastructure (Public Cloud, Private/on-prem Cloud and baremetal) to build a highly-distributed and scalable platform and confidently provision the resources using infrastructure-as-code technology, such as Terraform
    • Confidently work, manage and diagnose issues with Kubernetes at all levels (Network, Infrastructure, Operational)
    • Deep understanding of Unix/Linux operating system internals, administration, life-cycle management and security.
    • Build automation to reduce toil, improve stability and increase scalability of OGE, in languages such as Go and Python
    • Build observability systems, alerts and playbooks to allow streamlined access to current system stability and execution on current issues
    • Build upon a solid understanding of networking (VLANs, BGP, TCP/IP, Firewalls/policy, Load Balancing)
    • Understand and build upon security considerations from the edge to the cloud and how they contribute to the stability of our platform
    • Produce detailed high and low level designs and documentation, working closely with partners across the engineering team.
