And what does a Principal Infrastructure Engineer, Platform at Ori do, exactly? 🔍
We’re building our cloud, from the ground up. You’ll be responsible for the design and implementation of a global infrastructure footprint to support our cloud software stack. From physical hardware, to operating systems - Infrastructure Engineering own the stack.
Use diverse set of infrastructure (Public Cloud, Private/on-prem Cloud and baremetal) to build a highly-distributed and scalable platform and confidently provision the resources using infrastructure-as-code technology, such as Terraform
Confidently work, manage and diagnose issues with Kubernetes at all levels (Network, Infrastructure, Operational)
Deep understanding of Unix/Linux operating system internals, administration, life-cycle management and security.
Build automation to reduce toil, improve stability and increase scalability of OGE, in languages such as Go and Python
Build observability systems, alerts and playbooks to allow streamlined access to current system stability and execution on current issues
Build upon a solid understanding of networking (VLANs, BGP, TCP/IP, Firewalls/policy, Load Balancing)
Understand and build upon security considerations from the edge to the cloud and how they contribute to the stability of our platform
Produce detailed high and low level designs and documentation, working closely with partners across the engineering team.
