Your tasks

For our New Product Development in Audio Technology, we are entering the phase of Design and final Product Validation and Certification.

For this phase, we are looking for engineering support for the preparation, conduction and analysis of various validation tests for our loudspeaker systems.

This includes EMC/ESD tests, Tests for Electrical Safety, Environmental Tests (Heat Measurements, Humidity Tests, Drop Tests, etc.) and mechanical stress tests.

The assignment will be on a freelance basis and Full-Time for a period of around 6-9 months starting asap.

You bring

• A strong background in Quality Engineering/ Electrical Engineering/ Hardware Development and Testing with a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a mechatronics product, ideally in the audio industry
• Have been an essential part of a successful validation, verification and certification process of a mechatronics product and are familiar with the relevant standards
• Ideally, experience with UL/ IEC 62368 or UL/ IEC 60065
• Familiarity with environmental and packaging test standards
• Solid understanding of audio measurement fundamentals
• Experience in test automation and you are comfortable using command-line tools
• Strong soldering skills and you are comfortable building hardware test setups
• Ideally experience working in a manufacturing environment and familiarity with production processes
• Motivation to make the best out of this job
• Passion for new challenges and a willingness to take a deep dive into complex topics
• Interest in audio systems and music production workflow
