Our award-winning product, GoByBus.hk, is Hong Kong’s first and only intercity coach platform. Incorporating both proprietary data and information from the operators, together with the use of station photos and Geographical Information System, we help passengers to find their ideal route and schedule. Our effort in the promotion of QR code ticket enabled customers to get their tickets online and onboard the bus directly, at the same time we improved the efficiency and revenue of the operators. Furthermore, the use of big data and artificial intelligence allows passengers to have more confidence and control of their journey. We are also the exclusive partner of several digital wallets to provide intercity coach ticketing service inside their mobile application, to further expand the use of digital payment and facilitate the development of smart cities.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of a web app and payment channels in a fast and iterative development process.
• Analyze and respond quickly to internal and external feedbacks, bug-fixing, and optimizing performance.
• Design the interface and enhance the user experience on an ongoing basis.
• Unit-test the code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general product reliability.
• Prepare system design, development, testing, and implementation related documents.

Requirements

• Bachelor or Master Degree holder in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Information Systems or related disciplines.
• Enthusiasm in changing people’s lives and making an impact on society.
• Proficient with PHP, MySQL, jQuery, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3.
• Hands-on experience in WeChat Mini-Program, connecting with third-party APIs, and knowledge in payment gateways will be an advantage.
• Experience in responsive web design preferred.
• Fast learner, independent, well-organized, details oriented, and able to accomplish deadlines.
• Good team player with strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Can-do spirit, great sense of ownership, and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
