Remote Position

Panalyt(www.panalyt.com) is a people analytics platform empowering several high growth companies across Asia to bridge the people data gap and drive desired business outcomes through strategic people decisions.

We're a very diverse team coming from a range of different backgrounds and nationalities working on fixing the missing link between business strategy and execution- timely access to people data and insights to aid business decision making.

As our VP Engineering, you will work in close collaboration with our Backend, Frontend and Data Science teams managing a scalable infrastructure and tools using Google Cloud Platform, Java and SQL.
Responsibilities:

• Design, build and manage highly scalable backend systems.
• Work in collaboration with the developers, data team to ensure that the product vision is realized through excellence in execution
• Constantly explore and evaluate the implementation of new technologies to address infrastructure scalability and performance challenges Requirements: - Ideally you have previously built and scaled up development teams at a Series A+ startup and have been involved in big data/ AI/ ML projects( if previous remote experience better)
• 5+ years of experience in Java. (Knowledge of Lombok, Guice and Junit Test libraries )
• 3+ years Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
• 1+ years experience with graph databases

Plus :

• Experience with distributed systems using Kubernetes -Knowledge of DevOps practices
• 2+ years of experience using Google Cloud Platform

Compensation: upto S$200k annual and 1% equity for the right candidate
