    Job description

    RESPONSIBILITY:

    - Contribute to tools for logging, visualizing and debugging our robot systems
    - Contribute to the maintenance, testing, and deployment of our products
    - Ensure our systems are designed to be robust, reliable and can be deployed
    with confidence to our global customers.
    - Assist in the creation of challenging, ambitious but realistic product
    development plans.
    - Collaborate with multiple disciplines beyond core robotics that contribute to
    the creation of robotic products.
    - Manage the state of the art machine vision technology and integration with
    robotic processes
    - Solve real-world problems of robots operating in real, uncontrolled, dynamic
    environments
    - Manage state-of-the-art robotics equipment, such as 3D lidar sensors, 3D
    cameras, high precision controllers, etc

    REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

    - Master's degree in CS or robotics-related field, or Bachelor’s with 2+ years of
    experience
    - At least one year of experience in one or more of the following areas: SLAM,
    localization, mapping, sensor fusion, path planning
    - Strong experience in algorithm implementation in C++ / Python
    - Experience with relevant open-source libraries e.g. OpenCV, PCL
    - Familiarity with sensors, such as LIDAR, IMU, GPS, radar, or cameras
    - Strong Linux and ROS background
    - Hands-on experience in robotic system design and implementation
    - Strong analytical skills and mathematical foundation

    PREFERRED SKILLS:

    - PhD in CS or robotics-related field
    - Good intuition for real-world systems; works well with interdisciplinary teams
    - Hands-on experience working with real platforms and an intimate
    understanding of the challenges of working with complex systems and a
    quantitative approach to improve system performance
    - Extensive experience with system integration and development of physical -
    robots
    - Familiarity with Git or other version control tools
    - Publications in a related field
