About the role

Zencare is looking for an enthusiastic Therapist Outreach Lead to join our Business Development team, the driving force in company growth.

In this role, you will identify, reach out to, and recruit therapists to grow our network of quality providers, now spanning nine major markets! You will join a passionate team that works tirelessly to build and enhance relationships with therapists who share our mission of increasing access to quality mental health care, so that therapy seekers can find their ideal provider.

In your daily work, you will drive exploratory conversations with potential therapist members, identify how Zencare could help their practices grow, and successfully position the Zencare value proposition. You will also research prospective therapists, create and execute on outreach strategies, and identify new opportunities for network expansion. You will be the “human face” of Zencare to potential new members.

• Relationship building experience: 1-3 years of professional experience post-Bachelor’s preferred.

In this role you will:

• Embrace the Zencare solution: Wholeheartedly embrace the Zencare mission, crafting an explanation of what we do that is true to you, and enthusiastically educate therapists on the value of our solution.
• Increase the therapist network through calls: Build relationships with prospective therapist members through outbound calls. Pose thoughtful questions to learn about their practice and confidently and thoughtfully navigate questions to gain buy-in. As training progresses, master our clinical vetting process to assess therapist fit for the network.
• Maintain therapist relationships: Brainstorm new and creative ways to maintain contact with previously contacted therapists, whether through events, newsletters, or follow up communication. Be their go-to contact throughout onboarding, providing support and marketing tips in preparation for the videoshoot.
• Find excellent therapists: Research and identify potential new therapists to contact. Use our customer relationship management tools to master the sourcing process, and continuously look for ways to make it more efficient, taking to new markets as we scale.
• Collaborate with the team: Work closely and collaborate with team members to develop appropriate strategies, deepen relationships, and strengthen inbound marketing channels.
• Learn the ropes of business development: Set yourself up for a successful career by learning the necessary fundamentals to be a great relationship builder and leader, particularly in the healthcare space.

Compensation and benefits

• Compensation: $45K - $55K per year
• Health insurance benefits

What to expect in the interview process

• The interview process for the Therapist Outreach Lead has five primary components:
• Initial call: We'll ask about your interests, strengths, and goals for the years ahead.
• Second call: We'll ask more about your interest in Zencare, and how your past experiences and skills might fit into the role.
• Roleplay: We'll ask you to prepare for a roleplay in which you'd be the Therapist Outreach Lead on an introductory call with a provider.
• Career rundown & competency questions: You'll have the chance to meet with each team member, and we'll go more in depth to understand your previous experiences and strengths, while you ask us questions, too!
• Reference checks: We'll ask to speak with peers, supervisors, and other folks who can speak to their experience working with you, and how we can build an environment in which you would thrive.
