    Job description

In the past three years, Flock Freight has grown 25 times in size and has become one of the largest startups in San Diego. We’ve done some of our best work in the midst of a global pandemic and even hired over 50 new team members during the crisis.

Whether we’re logging on from home or from the office, our mission remains the same: To reinvent North America’s $400-billion freight industry by relentlessly eliminating inefficiency and waste through algorithmic pooling. We’re using our proprietary technology to guarantee shared truckload service, the faster, safer, greener — just better — way to ship.

As the first and only company in the freight-shipping space to earn a B Corp certification, we’re pleased to provide shared truckload service, which reduces our industry’s carbon footprint. Our commitment to do the right thing doesn’t stop at the environment though; we’re tackling initiatives in many areas to build an inherently sustainable business model and a high-performance, high-care culture.

Our team and our investors are extremely passionate about our pledge to use shipping as a force for good. SignalFire, GLP Capital Partners, and GV (formerly Google Ventures) recently invested millions in our Series B round of funding, validating our vision to transform the freight industry.

This pursuit would be nothing without our brilliant people, who obsess over growing our customer base, developing our carrier network, and improving our technology platform.

    About the role:

    Requirements

    • Experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Istio and other cloud native frameworks
