Job Summary
Do you enjoy creating elegant designs that positively impact people's daily lives? Do you enjoy solving complex problems while utilizing design thinking? Are you excited about solving some of the most challenging problems in transportation and be part of a movement towards creating a more sustainable future? If so, you might be Veo's next Product Designer.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Using analytical thinking to understand complex user problems and requirements
• Creating intuitive, efficient, and delightful experience for our product
• Participating in user research sessions and continually incorporating user feedback to improve our product
• Delivering low to high fidelity prototypes and mockups to share with the entire technology team
• Developing new features with our tech team in both Android and iOS versions of our mobile application
• Supporting system testing and new version release and upgrades
• Creating and translating designer mock-ups and wireframes into usable code
• Recognizing cutting-edge design and product developments and sharing them with our software development team

Qualifications and Skills

• BS or MS degree in Design or Computer Science or equivalent experience and training
• A portfolio that demonstrates your experience leveraging user centered design
• 3+ years experience as a UI/UX or Product Designer (Graphic Design experience is a plus)
• Familiarity and comfort with user centered design principles
• Understanding of application development and the nuances between web/iOS/Android as well as responsive design
• Experience working with an Agile development team
• Logical thinker, effective communicator, and able to present (verbally and visually) content with clarity
• Cooperative and collaborative working style with other individuals and development teams (especially backend and iOS and Android Mobile teams)
• Passionate about making the world a better place to live and bike
• Proficient in softwares such as Sketch and Invision (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign is a plus) Benefits and Perks
