Cohabs is a Belgian startup that provides a network of flexible, fully furnished accommodations by creating sustainable community-driven shared houses.
We buy, renovate, and operate incredible homes located in the best neighborhoods of Brussels, New York and Paris.
We started just over 4 years ago and are expanding fast. We’re looking to source some crucial hires, in order to continue our international expansion across the U.S. and Europe.
To support our U.S. growth, we are looking for an exceptional Project Manager to develop our upcoming projects in NYC and to help shape the rest of the New York office and team.
The NY Project manager will report directly to the New York City Manager.

Mission:

Asset Acquisition Process + Project Setup:

Presentation of asset business plan and feasibility to City Manager
Architecture and Design review
Permit application
Scope of work + Contractor selection

*Renovation Follow-up: *

Planning and budget monitoring
Quality control via site visits and clear documentation
Streamlined reporting to City Manager and VP of Project Management HQ

*Project Delivery: *

Technical Review and Systems Testing
Equipment installation - FF& E / Smart Home Features: Eero Internet System, Nest, Ring, Sonos, Salto Locks etc.
Constant punch list delegation and followup with General Contractors

Decoration Oversight:

Liaise with the HQ Deco team to ensure the entire home is designed and furnished according to the Cohabs playbook
Assist HQ team to procure all decoration materials
Help Deco team stay on budget through the duration of the project

*Your Profile *

You have exceptional judgement and can make sound decisions
You thrive in an autonomous environment
You have 3-5 years of Previous experience in Real Estate or Construction Management
You know the ins and outs of the NYC DOB
A few years working in the hospitality industry in FOH or BOH Operations is a huge plus
