Overview

We are seeking a Co-founder VP of Engineering based in New York.

We seek someone with a deep experience in software development, a history of leadership and an ability to scale to oversee product development and take Bridgr.io closer to achieving it's mission.

This opportunity is for an equity co-founder position. Salary to follow following execution of our MVP.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for an ambitious, skilled and experienced leader to join a team changing the way musicians meet, connect, and collaborate. You will work directly with the founding team and act as both a technology and business expert, making decisions that will impact the strategy, operations and culture of the company. This is an opportunity to build a startup from the ground up!

This opportunity is for an EQUITY STAKE equity offer as a co-founder at Bridgr.io. The candidate must be able to forgo a salary until we receive outside funding.

Please note: we are in the process of opening up our seed round to prospective investors.

Who are we?

Bridgr.io is a company dedicated to simplifying the processes and services for remote music collaboration. We look to build better sounding, more collaborative, real-time virtual experiences for musicians who teach, learn, rehearse, or produce music with someone else.

What you’ll be doing

• Developing and overseeing product MVP and future versions of the platform.
• Select the appropriate technologies and software languages based the company's product/platform requirements.
• Recruit and develop a team of engineers.
• Ensure technological resources meet the company's short-term and long-term needs.
• Implement a dev process and stack that supports lean experimentation and agile frameworks.
• Push the limits to continuously create and enhance user experience.
• Work closely with other co-founders and team to identify business development goals
• Create and manage timelines for the development and deployment of all product releases and technical services.
• Meet top entrepreneurs, investors, and experts.
• Meet with users, customers and testers.
• Ability to stay on top of technology trends and developments.
• Proficient in software testing principles and methods.
• Troubleshoot and debug.

What we're looking for

• Proven web app development experience
• Strong coding skills in programming languages within the real-time communication and web conferencing space.
• Knowledge of development programming languages
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Exceptional team management skills.
• Be able to work in a high-energy, collaborative, and often times, telecommunication environment.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Passion for the company’s vision.
• Prefer experience or interest in audio engineering, sound design and music software.
• Self Starter and do whatever it takes mindset.
• Sharp, intuitive, and a team player.
