    Job description

At BuildLane, we make it easy for interior designers to source and create custom furniture. Our web-based platform helps designers manage the entire custom furniture process with our network of high-quality, trusted domestic factories.

We’re an early-stage, venture-backed startup with big ambitions: we want every interior designer to be able to easily and simply create the furnishings that they design for their customers.

    About Our Company Culture

    • We care deeply about the success of our customers and our factory partners.

    • We are resourceful. As a small startup, we work closely together and rely on each other to find solutions to all of the problems we are solving.

    • We are a passionate team! We’re passionate about our careers and our personal growth. We’re passionate about our customers and the work that they do. And we are passionate about helping local factories grow and hire domestically.

    • We are creative and collaborative. We work very closely together to generate ideas and find ways to bring those ideas to life.

If this sounds like you, we’re excited to meet you.

    • You’ll play an active role in developing our team culture and maintaining a quality codebase through code review, sprint planning, and retrospectives
    • You’ll have a high amount of autonomy. You’ll be the owner of our code repositories, our software quality, and our release practices.
    • You’ll work directly with the Head of Product to determine strategy, prioritize our backlog, and meticulously map out our product roadmap.
    • You’ll help us recruit more great engineers to expand the BuildLane team.
    • You’ll help us refactor our current/legacy codebase to improve structure and organization to prepare for onboarding more developers.
