Responsibilities:
- Act as a strategic partner to the CEO and the ret of the executive team
- Build people's function from scratch (first hire) in a fast-growing post series B company (talent management, recruiting, HR)
- Lead recruiting, onboarding and training. Build our recruiting brand and interview process and exceptional candidate experience
- Sponsor and lead culture, team engagement and DEI efforts
- Own company culture building, establish ENPS measuring and continous feedback loop with our team members
- Stay up to date with HR related legal guidelines. Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local employment laws. Ensure appropriate controls and documentation are followed to meet security and compliance requirements across all systems
- Tackle projects and programs at all levels of the HR “stack” - strategic, operational, and tactical.
- Utilize data to solve complex organizational challenges through people-centric solutions
- Drive and develop a best-in-class employee performance management / review process
- Own the long-term strategic roadmap for people systems to support needs across the employee life cycle
Qualifications
- Led people, HR function in a fast-growing startup environment
- Has experience in both recruiting and talent management
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience
- Has experience of managing teams (5+ employees)
- Highly ambitious and goal-oriented
- Ability to handle complex situations with poise
- Able to build for long term, but also able to find efficient short-term solutions
