Web Developer - Dr. Banner｜Meet.jobs

This is a very exciting project, as we’re looking to setup the tech team outside of France HQ, to assist for more development of the Dr. Banner platform and adapting it for the Asia markets.

This will be an ongoing big project, as we scale up to cover the whole of Asia, including China.

Dr. Banner Tech Team in Singapore, and looking to hire potentially 3 to 5 persons:

Team Manager (certainly an IT-fluent person, for both a managerial position and participation in the development)

Web Developers / Back-End Developers (preferably with at least 2-3 years experience + project management skills) - extending to both senior and junior positions

 

IT Development Team (including Team Manager and Developers)

In Dr. Banner’s world, we manipulate many different concepts:

Mainly a web-based application built around Java (for back-end) and Javascript (for the user interface).

We create and manage databases, with either SQL databases (like MySQL which is the user data support) or NoSQL-type databases (like MongoDB which is used in many support systems environment of the complete stack).

We handle and process Big Data, in the sense that the volumes of bid requests received daily for a country like France reaches 150 millions bid requests.

We process this data with fats and efficient programming languages like Python.

Senior Developer will need to be totally fluent in all the above languages and techniques, including Java and Javascript, with additional plus points if possible to handle MySQL, MongoDB, HTML5, Go and Python. Experience with AWS could be an extra added value.

Junior Developer can be knowledgeable in some of these languages/techniques, not all required.
