Job Overview

Lodestone is looking for Software Engineers passionate in building up strong foundational technological services and products in the field of artificial intelligence. As a Software Engineer, you will play a key role working with our client's Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams to deliver on high-impact projects and operational excellence.

Description of Work

This role is geared towards developing an ML platform to support labeling collection and tools for assessing data quality. As a Software Engineer, you will be working autonomously and actively engage in problem solving across XFN / client teams and interface with product teams to solve technical problems.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Product, Engineering, Analytics, and Operations teams (both internal and clients) to configure, maintain, and develop software
• Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
• Develop technical solutions, web features, and tools to support labeling platform initiatives
• Enhance overall system reliability, performance, efficiency, and scalability of new platform features
• Work autonomously

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3+ years of industry experience in software engineering, development
• 3+ years experience with programming languages (PHP, Python, C++ or Java)
• 3+ years experience with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript Frameworks such as React or similar
• General knowledge of machine learning concepts and real-world applications
• Experience working with Hadoop, Hive, MapReduce, Spark, or MySQL
• Ability to independently and creatively solve problems

Preferred Qualification:

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Statistics or related technical field, or equivalent related experience
• 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, development
• 3+ years experience developing with PHP & Python
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize issues while maintaining the level of quality and efficiency
• Previously worked with development labeling platforms, tools, and features
• Prior machine learning experience as an engineer or data scientist
