ROLE OVERVIEW
As a Product Operations Manager, you will drive operational excellence between Product and our customer-facing teams. You will work on Benchling’s high priority releases, including betas and product launches. You’ll also support Product Managers to make high-quality, data-advised decisions, as well as scale product knowledge throughout the organization.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Drive and execute product launches, releases, and beta programs in conjunction with product, product marketing, support, customer enablement, and internal enablement, among others.
- Own product release readiness, ensuring customer-facing teams have the appropriate role-based enablement to support their customers.
- Steward cross-functional subject matter expert programs to aggregate user insights, identify customer trends, and align go-to-market with the product roadmap and strategy.
- Develop, implement, and iterate on cross-functional processes to support Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) and drive customer value.
ABOUT YOU
- You have 5+ years of product operations, product management, program management, or an operational role that worked closely with product and engineering teams.
- You embody the principles of operational excellence, and have a track record of leading and delivering end-to-end execution of complex programs.
- You are adept at building empathy for your internal/external stakeholders, and you tailor your approach based on your audience.
- You are capable of navigating ambiguity, and you get energy from creating structure and processes to facilitate decision-making.
- You have a talent for communication and an ability to explain dense, technical topics to non-technical stakeholders.
- You have a point of view on how to improve our processes, and the initiative to drive these improvements.
