    As a Marketing Manager at Compass, you will shape Compass' local marketing team and our presence in the New York market. You will be responsible for managing the local marketing team while working closely with the regional team and Compass corporate marketing department to develop, oversee and execute a local brand strategy and agent marketing services strategy. You will be the leader and visionary for Compass Marketing.

    At Compass You Will:

    Lead your team in executing an excellent customer experience for our agents.

    Lead a marketing team that effectively, efficiently, and intelligently handles all local marketing needs for our agents within your market.

    Lead strategy and execution for all agent branding and marketing within your market to ensure cohesion with the Compass brand and customer satisfaction

    Analyze local media landscape and develop local media strategy (print and digital) in partnership with regional advertising lead and RMD

    Analyze local marketing needs and remain up to date on local real estate market trends, and the competitive landscape to inform marketing decisions.

    Work with other regional marketing leads on cross-regional marketing opportunities.

    Work with your local Agent leaders, local employee leaders, and Advertising partner to assess the competitive landscape and build a media plan that supports our brand, the Agent desires, and is in line with industry standards. Seek approval from Regional Marketing Director and then implement the plan and market the plan back to the Agent populations and employees in your respective market.

    What We are looking for:

    • Strong experience building world class customer experience teams and has critical eye to suggest and implement areas to improve that process
    • Strong executive presence and ability to command and lead a team
    • Collaborative, results-oriented leadership experience and approach
    • Management experience leading cross-functional teams; change management,
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Independent, strategic thinker with operational experience
    • 5+ years previous experience in a marketing or branding role

    Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Manager:

    • Responsible for customer service excellence in the respective market.
    • Communicating all department initiatives, updates, information, etc to AMM’s & Marketing team (ie ensuring our MA’s receive RML feedback, notes, changes to initiatives, etc.)
    • Own the market you oversee: from agent escalations, staying on top of the expansion, keeping agents informed on any marketing comms, contacts, changes in the process.
    • Level up any updates, challenges or obstacles the market is facing to the Regional Marketing Director.
    • Ensuring your respective market is tracking towards all KPI’s and meeting goals of the quarter and year. (see 2021 OKR’s & KPIs)
    • Serve as a step in or partner to RML when RML cannot extend
    • Coach your respective Managers in areas of improvement.
