As a Senior Backend Engineer at Lomotif, you will:

• Write backend application in clean and reusable codes
• Design, build and maintain the overall architecture of the backend applications
• Build software infrastructure data exploration and analysis
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of APIs
• Maintain up to date documentation and tests of mission-critical endpoints

Here are the eligibility requirements:

• Min 2 years of backend application development with Python and Django
• Min 1 year of experience with Docker environment & AWS lambda
• Experience developing backend systems using databases PostgreSQL
• Knowledge of NoSQL & SQL is a plus!
• Good knowledge/understanding of Elastic search & Redis
• Proficient in tasks such as bash shell scripting, creating cron jobs and log file analyses

The following would be helpful but are not required:

• Video space-related knowledge and technologies (i/b/p frames, h264, rtmp, ffmpeg)
• Development of social media features (notifications and news feeds, privacy)
• DevOps best practices (provision and maintenance of services)
• Startup/entrepreneurial experience
