    Job Description
    As a Principal Product Manager you understand our core business strategies and can develop and align a complex, at-scale web and mobile product strategy. You will work cross-functionally in understanding the market and collaborate with the product development team to bring new capabilities into the market.

    • Partner with the Director of Product and other Product Managers to develop product strategies that align with company objectives.
    • Work closely with executive leadership through strategic planning and budgeting
    • Develop and implement a segment strategy for the portfolio consistent with the company vision
    • Guide cross-functional customer experiments to test ideas and build evidence of valuable solutions.
    • Partner with the development team on product opportunities
    • Work cross-functionally with sales, corporate and product marketing to develop packaging and pricing strategies.
    • Support market expansion of new B2B products, working directly with sales to locate, develop and sign the first few paying customers.
    • Across the portfolio, ensure you manage the development backlogs, coordinate releases to ensure products are launched correctly on schedule.
    • Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
    • Be hands-on and willing to step in and work at any level of the organization
    • Manage and report consistently against product KPIs.
    • Help grow a high-performing, innovative product culture

    Requirements

    A combination of 15+ years of proven work experience, with a minimum of 7 years in product management in B2C SaaS and Mobile products and 5+ additional years of experience in strategy, sales, product marketing, or partnerships.

    • Experience working in a distributed, agile product development environment
    • Experience in a combination of strategic planning, investment and budgeting
    • A great sense of humor and the ability to work with multiple people
    • Ability to adapt recommendations to changing conditions

    Bonus Points

    • Fluency with JIRA, Confluence and ProductBoard
    • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Mode, BigQuery and SQL
    • Passionate about youth sports as a parent, player, administrator or fan

    Location
    We are headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, but this job is remote (unless you happen to live near Boulder, in which case you’re welcome to come to the office). TeamSnap is a mostly-distributed company, so you must be very comfortable working with people who aren’t in the same physical location as you or each other. While we love all parts of the world, we can only hire permanent US residents at this time.

    Compensation
    We’re committed to equitable compensation for all TeamSnappers.The annual compensation range for this role is $175,000 to $225,000, inclusive of base and bonuses or commissions. This range applies to Colorado-based employees only and may be adjusted based on work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
