    • Select and implement an Applicant Tracking System ("ATS") to increase visibility into and streamline our hiring processes
    • Own the expansion of our recruiting channels to reach candidates from a variety of backgrounds
    • Proactively collaborate and calibrate with the recruiting and hiring teams to ensure a positive interviewer and candidate experience
    • Work closely with hiring managers to source candidates, move candidates through the process, and oversee candidate communications to ensure a high close rate for open roles
    • Hold yourself and the hiring team accountable by tracking relevant metrics for pipeline health and activity
    • Review and adjust hiring methodologies as needed to improve equity in our practices
    • Manage our relationship with our payroll and benefits provider ("PEO") —> Sequoia One
    • Work closely with our PEO to ensure compliance with state, federal, and international employment, benefits, and other laws and regulations
    • Own Coursedog's compensation philosophy and principles and work closely with managers on comp refreshes and benchmarking
    • Own our payroll and benefits administration including overseeing our semi-monthly payroll
    • Evaluate Coursedog's benefits stack on a bi-annual (or annual) basis to ensure it is market competitive and contributing to employee satisfaction
    • Advise the CEO and leadership team on all areas of people, culture, and talent
    • Manage HR analytics & reporting, performance reviews, and employee engagement surveys
    • Set bi-annual People Ops OKRs based on employee feedback and collaboration with company leadership to identify key areas of growth
    • Foster a culture of engagement and equity that values diversity, inclusion, and fairness in management practices. Ensure all employees feel respected and heard
    • Coordinate team bonding events and initiatives to build a supportive and connected culture across our distributed workforce
    • Coach managers on how to effectively deliver talent development, feedback, and compensation related conversations with reports
