🚀 The Oppotunity
We're looking for a fantastic Front-End Engineer to join our core team. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growth, ML start-up in a core engineering function, joining a very strong team of scientists, engineers, business experts and dreamers. Come join us on the quest of building the category-defining software solution that will drive profitability and enhance sustainability through AI/ML.

As our core Front-End Engineer you will have significant ownership over how our users interact with our software, as well as shaping our codebase. You'll work closely with the Co-Founders and our top-notch engineering team.

🌱 The role

• Get product ownership Design and build intuitive, state of the art human interfaces to communicate results from our ML engines to our business customers and enable our tool to be self-configurable for our customers. Innovate rapidly, delivering high-quality and ground-breaking functionality. In a nutshell: Build and grow a product that users love.
• Join a strong team: Collaborate closely with our Co-Founders and the engineering team to make product design choices. Be creative and curious and work with others to rapidly turn an idea into working code.
• Lay the foundation: Deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain your code in production. Develop and maintain a well-structured codebase for the front-end component of our product.

🔧 Your ideal skills
Above all else, you are a continuous learner and are excited to add new skills to your toolbox. We believe that the best engineers can learn new skills on the job.

• 2-3 years of relevant work experience as front-end engineer / developer
• Strong experience with Typescript, JavaScript (and their frontend development libraries like VueJS, react or Svelte), HTML, and CSS.
• Advanced knowledge of data visualization with ChartJS, Plotly, and D3 (if you're not familiar with D3, look forward to learning a lot of it 😊) - create visuals that show customers valuable insight from their data that empower their decision-making.
• Experience with Python-based back-end systems (Flask, FastAPI, Django) is a plus.
• Understand the bigger picture: you don’t just build awesome customer experiences but can play a crucial role in choosing what we build and how we build it.

The stack we're currently using is Javacript (VueJS) and D3 on the Front-End. Our Back-End is Python-based, with our relational databased stored on AWS RDS.
