In the VW Smart.Production:Lab Wolfsburg, the focus is on the smart factory. In the digitized factory of the future, machines and systems, robots, goods and products will be networked with each other. People and robots will no longer work side by side or one after the other on a component, but simultaneously and together. We work closely with scientists from the Robotics Innovation Center of the German Research Center for Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) in Bremen.
You will perform your work directly on site at Volkswagen AG as a fully integrated team member with equal pay. - Implement data streaming applications on AWS services including application of algorithms for data processing and visualisation
- Set up an industrial cloud for the operational capability of the Lab products
- Design data flow from different network zones into the cloud and back again
What we don´t do:
- Software to be used inside of the vehicles or by a Volkswagen car owner.
- Self driving, electric vehicles, apps for controlling vehicles, etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Degree in (Business) information technology or a comparable qualification
- Good knowledge in cloud-based platforms
- Especially very good skills in AWS (about 4 years of experience in AWS)
- Experience in Java
- Knowledge with agile Software Development
- Basis-Network Know How
- Fluent German and good English skills for communication in national and international projects
