About the role:

We are looking for a Strategy & Planning Analyst to join our very talented lineup as we continue to build up the S&P function in the Finance team.

Reporting to the Strategy & Planning Manager, you will be responsible for growing and leveraging the company’ funding and banking capabilities through insightful interpretation of dashboards, effective use of the firm's capital and the successful execution of our strategy. The role will be highly involved in financial analysis deep-dive, tracking key business metrics and participating in capital allocation discussions.

What you will be doing:

• Monitor and analyse business performance based on financial metrics and KPIs to close possible performance gaps
• Update key financial models and create new models from scratch (eg. cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, cohort analysis and pricing models)
• Develop a thorough understanding of the business (eg. products/services, customers, competitors, market and trends) through research and analysis of business units
• Support planning and execution of company strategy by conducting market research, deep diving into product P&L and unit economics
• Continuous review of financial analysis methods, tools and cost drivers to make effective recommendations and sound business decisions
• Participate in strategic data analysis, research, and modeling for senior company leadership
• Provide timely and accurate reporting to management and investors

We would love to get to know you if you have the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics or other quantitative fields
• 1 to 3 years of experience in a VC/PE investment environment, corporate finance, strategic planning or similar fields
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Prior experience in SQL and/or Excel VBA
• Strong experience with financial statements and financial modelling
• Interest in fintech, tech and/or startups
• Highly analytical and data-oriented mindset
• Good communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence key stakeholders
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and projects
