Your Role and Responsibilities

● Championing and guiding others to adopt Agile and other best practices to create meaningful solutions

● Applying scalable design patterns and best development practices (e.g. Test-Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.) to develop high-quality software that is easily extensible

● Design, envision and build applications for iOS/ Android platforms

● Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications

● Empathising with stakeholders to develop appropriate, actionable and holistic working solutions

● Leading and proactively suggesting solutions based on the business needs

● Collaborating with amazing people of different backgrounds and skillsets to solve challenging and complex problems

● Actively contributing to the company with your ideas and passion

The Qualifications To Be a Maverick

1. Minimum Qualifications

● At least 5 years of experience in developing various applications for production

● Worked in high performance and cross-functional Agile software engineering teams that used practices like Kanban/Scrum/Lean/XP, Test Driven Development (TDD), Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), etc.

● Experienced with both iOS and Android application development using native technologies and cross-platform frameworks

● Experienced writing unit tests, automated functional tests and UI tests

● Knowledge of iOS/ Android UI design principles, patterns and best practices

● Knowledge of iOS/ Android SDK and ecosystem of tools, libraries and frameworks

● Experienced publishing mobile apps to Google Play Store or iOS App Store

● Experienced with Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and Object Modelling

● Experienced with design patterns such as MVVM, MVC

● Experienced working with APIs to connect applications to back-end services

2. Desirable Qualifications

● Setting up of CI pipeline for mobile application development

● Experience with distributing apps to stakeholders and beta users using tools like Hockeyapp or TestFlight

● Experience with application benchmarking and optimisation

● Played cross functional roles

● Experience with developing applications for various industries
