    The Role 

    As a part of the product management team for CoolBitX, the Product Marketing Specialist’s primary responsibility is to communicate the product’s value to the market as well as defining the product’s value proposition and understand the customers’ pain points from the start of the product discovery phase.

    This includes but is not limited to deeply participating in user interviews and focus groups to collect user feedback to build MVPs, synchronizing user personas, market trends and competitors movements in order to position CoolBitX’s own product in the market and communicate the value proposition via product contents, presentations and others, mapping the user journey of the product to optimize user experience, co-setting product prices, selling approaches, channel strategies and marketing campaigns with related departments. 

    This Product Marketing Specialist position will be covering the three product lines of CoolBitX: CoolWallet, the 2C card-size cold storage wallet;Sygna, the 2B global AML travel rule compliance solution;X-Saving, the 2C crypto based fix saving product.     Responsibilities

    • Deeply participate in the product discovery process including but not limited to initiate and organize user interviews, focus groups, collecting user feedbacks to assist product managers to develop MVP to test user related hypothesis
    • Analyze user’s behavior, market trends, competitor movements and their marketing strategies with qualitative research and quantitative methods with the assist of data team
    • Consolidate user personals, market trends and competitor behaviors for internal references, and accordingly position CoolBitX’s own product with clear segmentation to differentiate from others
    • Act as the owner the product’s overall marketing strategies and positioning and serve as the communication bridge between marketing and product teams
    • Map out user journey and increase user funnel conversion through surfacing product task, user education, operation campaign
    • Conduct related product marketing contents such as the clear positioning of the products, the company’s vision and perspectives of the market trends, detail product related contents on our official website, marketing presentation materials for internal and external occasions, etc.
    • Unlock new user growth through product offerings design, content marketing, social media campaigns and affiliates collaboration with collaboration with sales and marketing team

    Requirements 

    • 3+ years of proven success in product marketing, product development or market analyst, eg. user interviews and focus group, positioning product, content marketing, user journey mapping, user segmentation, top of funnel growth and funnel optimization
    • Strong written communication capacity and interpersonal skills: be able to build and manage strong relationships with their team, cross-functional colleagues, and external partners.
    • Passionate in product: Willing to deeply participate in the process of product discovery and act as the owner of the assigned product marketing tasks  
    • Fast learner: be able to learn and understand crypto space and product offerings fast and integrate the internal resources 
    • Data-focused: Able to roll up your sleeves to pull and analyze the data and gain insights from the data
    • User-focused and product-driven: strong understanding of product and tech 
    • Strong logical thinking abilities and excellent command of spoken and written English 
    • Good collaboration and communication abilities, fast learner and persevering
    • Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful

    Extra skills

    • Understanding of Blockchain, cryptocurrency, hardware and software wallets and other crypto related industry concepts and jargons will be a plus
    • Understanding of the technical details about blockchain 
    • Understanding of the process of product discovery and software development
    • Have experience consolidating market trends, competitors’ movements and user segmentation and behaviors
    • Highly organized and calendar-driven
    • Former product manager, consultant or business analyst working experiences will be a plus
