    Responsibility

    1. Guarantees the Globelise Release Process.
    2. Set up needed cloud infrastructure for deployment and releases.
    3. Creates new tools to automate the release process
    4. Incidence management and root cause analysis.
    5. Strive for continuous improvement and build continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipeline (CI/CD Pipeline).
    6. Works with scrum teams to define and implement solutions that will help in release quicker.
    7. Creates frameworks that allow engineers to write code that scales with demand.
    8. Helps teams instrument their code and helps recognize parts of code that could benefit from increased observability.
    9. Control the impact of application code running in user-facing products
    10. Helps communicate the release schedule clearly with others.
    11. Develop monitoring and alerting to measure release process velocity.
    12. Identify process bottlenecks and introduce optimizations.
    13. Build security capabilities for the infrastructures.

    Requirements

    1. Methodical when troubleshooting and solving problems.
    2. Experienced with Cloud Infrastructure like AWS and Microsoft Azure.
    3. Experienced in working on large scale systems.
    4. Experienced in application and systems observability.
    5. Have a good knowledge of microservices.
    6. Language expertise. Application contributions are expected in Rust.
    7. Knowledge of profiling, and performance testing.
    8. Understanding of database principles and optimisation mechanisms.
    9. A strong grasp of DevOps best practices, Kubernetes, Container Orchestration, Serverless.
    10. Strong written and verbal communication skills - both technical and plain language.
