Purpose of this Position

 

Failure analysis project manager lead to perform the product failure analysis occurred during product development stage and also the after MP stage to support the thorough failure analysis and complete the effective containment action and full lesson learnt process could be fulfilled. FA leader is capable of handling FA communication, schedule and output report and communicating with KA customer to fulfill their special request with FA. 
The successful candidate will be responsible for Moxa product failure analysis lead and drive the cross-function teams to identify the root cause of the failure and fulfill customer requirement to the failure analysis procedure, tool and report format. To work closely with failure analysis techniques, product engineering team, design team, component engineer and manufacture team, the candidate has the rich experience to apply the failure analysis tool/methodology and could basically understand the product design, mechanical design, component design and assembly process in order to lead the team and drive to the correct failure analysis results. Then he would base on the failure analysis result to generate the design and process improvement lesson learnt.

 

Major Areas of Responsibility

 

1.Lead product failure issue analysis process
2.Cross-team coordination to analyze product failure, interact effectively with other groups such as FA techniques, Product Design Engineer, Product PM, Component Engineer, Product Testing, Quality Assurance and Manufacture groups to perform failure analysis tasks
3.Identify the failure root cause with FA techniques
4.Interact with manufacturing team for root cause and containment action driving
5.Deliver initial/final FA report following customer requested report format
6.Supporting look-ahead testing, characterization, & simulation to assist in process/design selection, assess reliability risks leading to product qualification.
7.Review/analyze data from characterization, reliability evaluations and product qualifications and issue summary reports.

 

 

資格

Minimum Job Requirements

 

1.Education: 
-Bachelor degree above in Physics, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field is required
2.Experience: 
-Minimum of 5y experience in product failure analysis/product development engineering PM or EE product design
-Familiar with failure analysis tool/methodology 
-Good Project Management & Presentation skills
-Experience in writing FA documentation reports
-Knowledge and experience in PSDM, problem solving methodology is a plus

1.Project-oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills in English, TOEIC 750 above
2.Good communication and coordination skill
3.Good logical organization ability
