Full-Stack Developer (Rails) - RelocationOnline｜Meet.jobs

 

We are a small, yet mighty team helping employees with their international, work related relocations in >60 countries. We do that by offering a B2B SaaS platform to relocation service providers, who would otherwise rely on spreadsheets, way too many emails and PDF attachments. There is much more that we would like to build, so we need your help.

 

 

You'll be working on Rails for the backend (API) with a PostgreSQL database and a React frontend. Heroku does the heavy lifting by hosting the application environment and deployment pipeline. 

 

We also created a nifty data capture tool built with native Javascript that's been a great success with our customers for the past 10 years.

 

It would be great when you have:

- strong technical fundamentals

- solid Rails chops
- experience with JavaScript SPA frameworks like React

- an eagerness to learn and share your knowledge with the team

- the belief that writing tests is a good idea

- experience designing and building service-based application components and RESTful APIs

As you will work remotely, you should be self-motivated, able to prioritize your own workload, and have excellent communication skills.

Our unique industry and customer base will give you a lot of international exposure.

You will be pushing code to production within a couple of days of getting started and have a direct impact on our customers and product roadmap. 

We offer flexible work hours and a fully remote set up (we know this pandemic thingy made that cool, but it's how we have rolled since we started 10 years ago).
