Membership and Supporter Events Manager

£32,084.85 per annum

This role is responsible for designing an annual calendar of high-quality events for supporters and Members, making best use of resources to ensure supporters feel valued.
Members and supporters enjoy a number of benefits including access to free out of hours events (which help the Museum to retain its existing Members’ loyalty) and the opportunity to book events for which there is an additional charge (which help the Museum to generate additional income). The Membership and Supporter Events Manager is responsible for developing, delivering and managing the Member events programme. The role is also responsible for liaising with wider Advancement, and the Museum’s central Events’ team, regarding supporter events, with a particular focus on events for the Museum’s Patrons groups.

Person specification:
With a degree or equivalent, the successful candidate will have previous experience managing both large and small events that would include experience of following relevant legislation and health and safety and risk guidance, including preparing risk assessments. Highly organised, with excellent planning skills and strong understanding of event design, development, delivery and review, you would have worked in multi-task contexts. You would be a confident use of software packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
