Job Brief
Our next big product update is aimed to happen in Q1 2021, which will bring us to another exponential user growth and engagement. We're looking for an experienced backend engineer who has ideally worked on mobile app/web project in AWS environment that had +1M user base. As the first full-time backend/server engineer, you will have the opportunity to work on every part of the process of re-building servers and backend infrastructure from ground-up with this role if you are the right candidate.

• Design, architect, deploy and manage multiple backend services around ingestion, normalization, search, serving
• Lay the foundation for a backend platform that allows fast iteration
• Build the systems to ensure best in class uptime and responsiveness for these systems

Requirements

• 3 years or more of back-end development
• Good English communication
• Proficient in one or more programming languages - React JS, Node.js/Javascript or C#, Java
• Experience with large web application algorithm pattern
• Experience with MySQL and MariaDB
• Experience with AWS and Docker
