    Job description

Located in Tees Valley, one of the north's best kept secrets, Teesside University is a fantastic place to build a future. As part of our IT team, you'll work on a friendly campus that's receiving £multi-million investment, and enjoy a host of benefits. Best of all, you'll be integral to our strategy - delivering excellence for students, partners and society.

As a Senior Contracts Administrator, you'll see that every IT contract delivers as planned. It means tracking contract performance data, flagging up any problems and working with suppliers to improve services. You'll also have the opportunity to work on sourcing and tenders, and will act as the main point of contact between the University and potential providers. It's a chance to build your knowledge of procurement, as well as your links with stakeholders.

Contract administration is a task that comes with financial management duties. You'll be in charge of relevant financial records and make sure that senior managers have the data they need. You'll also control IT assets, handling the administration of acquisition, storage, distribution and movement. With key information at your fingertips, you'll provide advice and support for budget planning.

At this level, you'll need knowledge of relevant finance procedures plus sound IT skills - Microsoft Office and Excel will be particularly important. An understanding of modern software licensing practices and software asset management is also essential. Ticked all the boxes? If you've also got the communication and people skills to build great relationships, we'd like to hear from you.

Join us, and you'll enjoy a raft of rewards: flexible working options, family-friendly perks, career development opportunities - and that's just the start. Our £275m investment in our campus means the University is a wonderful place to work and study, with countryside, coast and culture all in easy reach. Apply now - and help us deliver ambition today.
